Good Eats: Punch Bowl Social
I’m a few weeks late with this post but it’s still my birthday month! Every year I bring in the New Year with my husband and the kids. We grab a hotel room, chill, snack, pop bottles and watch the count down.
This year was no different except my besties got a hotel room the eve of the eve for some much needed girl time while the hubs kept our kids. That night the girls and I went to a comedy show and the morning of New Year’s Eve, we did brunch.
Our ritual is to always try and meet up for each others birthdays, and going out to eat is pretty much our fave. My restaurant of choice this year, was Punch Bowl Social. I’m always a fan of a cool atmosphere and a well branded restaurant. There’s also so much to do there like bowling, karaoke, arcade games, virtual reality play, table games, and miniature glof.
Four of us ordered the It's a Mer-Man's World Punch Bowl. It was good and a little strong. I’m not a bourbon person but I do like rum and pineapple.
It Included:
Old Forester Bourbon + Teakoe's Pineapple Papaya Tea + House-Made Cardamom Syrup + Doctor Bird Jamaican Rum + Fresh Lime Juice
I ordered the Monkey Bread French Toast with scrambled eggs. This meal caught my eye first. I have a sweet tooth so I also put a little syrup on mine.
Monkey Bread French Toast
Sticky, Gooey Brioche Bread + Salted Caramel + Candied Walnuts + 'Tender Belly' Bacon + Eggs Any Style
We had a great time catching up, and of course we couldn’t leave without taking pics! If you love backdrop photos, you’ll love the laundry room vibe downstairs. There also a pink setting with couches and chandeliers upstairs.
One of the best weekends ever!💕
