OUT & ABOUT: XO Marshmallow

The kids were on Spring Break this week, so we used this time to explore the city a little bit. One thing the kids love is marshmallows, especially Leah. On my list of things to do was visit XO Marshmallow a marshmallow café created by entrepreneurs KAT + LINDZI. This place is a hot topic, especially in the summer time. It can get real busy here with a line outside the door depending on the time and day. Since we’re still kind of social distancing, I figured this would be the best time to take them and it wouldn’t be swamped with people.

The marshmallows are super sweet and the prices may seem a bit high to some. None of us could finish the cones in one sitting, which was funny. We ordered Dat Cone Dough Marshmallow Cone for $8.95. We also ordered Cotton Candy and Funfetti Marshmallow Cubes. Afterwards we came across some street art by one of my favorite Chicago artists, Hebru Brantley, so we had to take a few pics.

I’ve been helping women grow their brand and start new businesses since 2011 when pregnant with my daughter. On my journey as a fempreneur, I get so many questions about starting a business, how I balance mom-life and more. So, I created a platform/community to mix all those answers together while including other femes on the same path.
