Brunch Life: Azul Mariscos
This weekend was Saturday brunch goals. My best friends birthday is on Cinco de Mayo, so for brunch she chose Azul Mariscos, a new Mexican seafood restaurant on the north side of Chicago.
Their customer service was off the chain. Before taking our order they gave us a round of shots of one of their signature drinks. They just opened, so I do hope the level of customer service stays the same in the long run.
The restaurant has a dope Miami vibe with additional outside seating on the Chicago River and a rooftop. We ordered a variety of dishes off the brunch menu and drinks too, including their popular Margarita Tower. I ordered the Pina Rellena (Stuffed PineApple) and taste tested my friends French Toast with Cinnamon Vanilla Ice Cream. I tried other dishes from everyone’s plate as well but these two meals were my fave. EVERYTHING was delicious though. View it all below like tacos, oysters, wings and more.
We didn’t want dessert but before we left they brought out sparklers and a mini piñata filled with candy and a $20 gift certificate in celebration of Jule’s birthday.
We’re all excited about going again and trying more things off the regular menu. The rooftop is first come first serve and definitely where we plan to be this summer. Dare you to go too, I think you’ll love it.
